We are pleased to announce that Ms. Deb Wexler will be the new Vice Principal at Estacada Middle School effective July 1, 2017.

Ms. Wexler earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Biological Aspects of Conservation, her teaching degree from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota, and her Master’s degree from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Wexler will graduate with her Administrative license in Educational Leadership and Policy from Portland State University in June 2017.

Ms. Wexler began teaching in the Estacada School District in 2002 as a science teacher at the Estacada Middle School. Combined, she has more than 25 years experience as a middle school teacher, and has shared her passion of science with students by encouraging them to be creative, inquisitive, and engaged in learning about the world around them. In 2015 Ms. Wexler began serving as the Dean of Students for the Estacada Middle School where she has been able to promote a positive school culture and work with students to help them learn to problem solve.

Ms. Wexler is excited about the opportunity to continue building relationships and celebrating the community as well as encouraging growth mindset. She and her husband David have two sons, Tyler and Alex, live in Damascus and enjoy hiking, bicycling, theater, and reading.    

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Wexler to the Estacada Middle School Vice Principalship as she transitions to this administrative position beginning July 1, 2017.
