Estacada High School Achieves All-Time High Graduation Rate

ESTACADA, Or.— Estacada High School’s graduation rate for school year 2018-2019 is the highest on record, coming in at 84.55%. This marks an increase of more than 14% from three years ago. Estacada High School’s 2019 graduation rate is 4.54% above the state average, and has increased steadily over several years.

The 2018-2019 graduation rate shows improvement across the board, with the EHS special education graduation rate reaching 68.42% (a 31% increase from the prior year), economically disadvantaged graduation rate coming in at 82.86% (a 11% increase from the 2017-2018 school year), and Hispanic/Latino graduation rate rising to 82.35% (a 3.4% improvement).

Superintendent Ryan Carpenter credits much of this success to the collaboration and hard work of Estacada School District staff across the district. Estacada High School also attributes improvements to the district’s commitment to offering a variety of engaging Career Technical Education Classes (CTE concentrators at EHS graduated at a rate of 90.7% in 2019), as well as the district’s Inclusive Practices initiative- which has given more students access to mainstream learning opportunities alongside their peers.

The district would like to thank the staff, families, and community of the Estacada School District for their support and partnership.
