Posted on 04/01/2020

At the March 12th meeting, the Estacada School Board voted unanimously to approve the district's Student Success Act plan. The plan will now be submitted to the Oregon Department of Education for review, feedback, and approval.

The vote comes after several months of district work to seek and analyze community, staff, and student feedback. The district held a variety of community meetings, online input sessions, surveys, and student focus groups to ensure that diverse perspectives were considered in this important work. The plan that has been developed ensures that the funds will be used in the most impactful manner to impact student success, reduce academic disparities for historically underserved groups, and integrate and align with community, staff, and student priorities.
