Estacada School District Families,

On December 23rd, Governor Brown announced that the metrics that have bound our schools to Comprehensive Distance Learning are now shifting from a mandatory status to advisory. This shift allows the Estacada School District to envision bringing students back on campus in a much nearer future than had been originally anticipated.

Our district is eager to reopen our buildings to serve students, but we also want to ensure that we do so in a safe and successful manner. This week we are working with our staff to finalize plans and timelines for shifting to hybrid learning. At this time everything remains status quo. We will update families again at the end of this week on January 8th, and will provide more details at that time.

9th-12th grade families: keep an eye out this week for a survey from your child(ren)’s principal(s) that will ask you your learning format preference for the coming months. Your prompt response will help us as we begin to prepare for providing learning in both hybrid and 100% virtual environments.

Thank you for your continued patience and partnership. We look forward to beginning this next transition alongside you.
