Leticia Gonzalez Jaramillo has been hired to work as a full-time Translator and Interpreter in a new position for the Estacada School District.

The Estacada School District opened the year in Comprehensive Distance Learning. We will remain in CDL until Clackamas County meets the state's health metrics for returning to in-person learning.

On November 1st the Estacada School District was notified that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 at River Mill Elementary School. The adult with COVID-19 is at home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms.

On October 30th, Governor Brown announced a change in the metrics that have previously prohibited our schools from opening to in-person learning. The revised metrics have significant and exciting implications for our students and schools.

On 10/28 the district was notified of a confirmed COVID-19 case at Clackamas River. The individual w/ COVID-19 is home isolating. No students were exposed.

Effective for the morning of 10/15 the Estacada School District will be transitioning back to comprehensive distance learning until further notice.

On October 10th the district was notified by Clackamas County Public Health of an additional confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Estacada School District. This case was also an adult, and the exposure occurred at the Estacada School District administrative office.

On October 8th, the Estacada School District was notified by Clackamas County Public Health that there has been a confirmed exposure of COVID-19 at River Mill Elementary School. That day, the individual with COVID-19 was contacted and is at home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms. Every person who came in close contact with the individual has been notified.

Ranger Athletics are back this Fall! Starting Sept. 28th we will be starting practices for some of our sports in specialized training seasons. Things will kick off with our Spring Sports.

Tonight the Estacada School Board voted to close all district school beginning Monday, March 16th to transition to virtual school days.

In accordance with this evening’s guidance and in order to minimize potential opportunities for the virus to spread, we have decided to proactively begin suspending events that bring large groups of students, adults, and community members together.

All Estacada School District schools will be closed to students on Monday, March 9th for a staff professional development day. Monday will be utilized to allow our staff to proactively prepare for a potential extended school closure that may arise if a case of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 enters our district community. At this time no cases are known to be directly connected to Estacada School District staff or students.

The Estacada School District is monitoring and preparing for potential coronavirus exposure, as well as engaging in best practice cleaning and education during the regular cold and flu season.

The Estacada School District was recently recognized by Solution Tree for its sustained success in raising student achievement. The district’s successful implementation of the Professional Learning Communities at Work™ process has been a major contributing factor in the improved achievement of its students.

The Student Success Act is estimated to bring the Estacada School District $1.5 million annually in additional funds. To ensure that these funds are utilized effectively, the district gathered input from hundreds of stakeholders and a plan has been developed.

Estacada High School’s graduation rate for school year 2018-2019 is the highest on record, coming in at 84.55%. This marks an increase of more than 14% from three years ago.
