10.14 School Status Update

10.14 School Status Update
Posted on 10/14/2020

Effective for the morning of 10/15 the Estacada School District will be transitioning back to comprehensive distance learning until further notice. Activities and extracurriculars will close or transition online as possible.
This update is is made in response to Clackamas County Public Health metrics and the increase of COVID-19 cases in the Estacada community. Student and staff safety continues to be a top priority.

The district will continue to monitor the metrics, work with county health and the Oregon Department of Education. The district will communicate weekly with the community on the status of reopening. The district intends to reopen as soon as possible.

The limited number of students who were receiving in-person instruction have been notified of this shift. Essential services will continue to be asked to operate inside the buildings, as we strive to ensure consistent meal service and safe sanitization in our buildings.

Meal service and electronic and supply delivery will continue as scheduled, and our pre-k program and daycare will remain open to serve the community. We look forward to serving you through our best in class distance learning platform, and will open our doors as soon as metrics allow.
